Dr. Matthew Himsey is a board-certified sports physical therapist located in Santa Clarita, CA. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University, as well as his Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Health Science Studies and Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University.
Matt’s love for physical therapy is evident in his training after graduation. He completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency through Kaiser Permanente in Southern California and then earned his board certification in sports physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has also earned certifications in both Orthopedics and Fitness Athletes through the Institute of Clinical Excellence.
Matt has significant experience working with athletes of all levels from Little League and AYSO soccer to college and professional athletes. He loves helping them get back on the field to realize their dreams.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Matt at a local CrossFit box working on improving his fitness and weightlifting, running around the streets or trails, spending time with his wife Jaymee and their six children, or wandering the mountain bike trails of Santa Clarita.
